Following an accident involving a car that also wounded the driver, a biker has passed away.
According to North Yorkshire police, the 59-year-old man was declared dead at the scene on Greenhow Hill Road in Thruscross, close to Harrogate.
The driver, a thirty-something woman, was treated at a hospital and then released.
