Woman in her 30s has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the alleged incident on Eaglesfield Road in Hartlepool

Two males in Hartlepool have died, and a murder inquiry has been opened.

According to Cleveland Police, a thirty-something lady was detained on suspicion of murder, and more officers are expected to be present in the area in the days ahead. According to a force spokesman, “On Friday, March 15, at around 11:40 p.m., police were called to a property on Eaglesfield Road in Hartlepool where, tragically, the corpses of two males were discovered. The circumstances surrounding their deaths are being looked at by officers.

“Specially trained officers have notified the men’s family members and are providing support.” We are still thinking of them throughout this very trying time. A thirty-year-old woman has been detained on suspicion of murder and has now been bailed whilst enquiries continue.

“Over the next few days, police will continue their high visibility reassurance patrols in the region. Cleveland Police is asking anyone with information to call 101 and reference incident number 047584.”

“We received a call at 11.36pm regarding a serious incident at a private property on Eaglesfield Road in Hartlepool,” a North East Ambulance Service spokesperson stated. Police showed up at the scene as well. We dispatched an emergency ambulance crew, a clinical team leader, and a duty officer. Every NEAS resource left the area at that point.
Residents of the street who were taken aback by the sight of all the emergency vehicles on Friday night and the fact that the house, which is thought to be a ground floor flat, remained sealed off on Sunday, expressed their shock. The recently demolished Hourglass Pub used to be close to the property.

One neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, stated: “We noticed all the blue lights when we were just watching television. We could see the police cars and the ambulance when we peered outside. There are many elderly folks in this area, and it is very calm. That something like this should occur is horrible. When it occurs at your own doorway, it is startling.”

Other nearby neighbours claimed that until they woke up the following day and seeing the police cars and the property roped off, they heard nothing and were unaware that anything had happened.
