A man has died and several others are injured following a horror three car pile-up.
The man, who has not been named, died after the trio of vehicles smashed into one another in Holmfirth, west Yorkshire, at around 4.45pm this afternoon.
The horrific accident happened when a VW Polo, an Audi A3 and a camper can collided on Greenfield Road, which runs from Holmfirth across the moors to Greenfield. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the North-West Air Ambulance flew to the scene shortly and took two injured people to hospital.
Fire crews from Slaithwaite, Huddersfield and Cleckheaton were called and freed the driver of the camper van, who was trapped by his legs.
According to the Huddersfield Daily Examiner , a man in the Polo, which left the road, died and two others in the car were hurt.
