A teenager was taken to hospital last night following a ‘medical episode’ in the Leeds Road area of Huddersfield.
An air ambulance landed inside Huddersfield Town’s training complex and several land ambulances also attended the scene.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said they were called shortly before 9.30pm by the ambulance service.
In a statement, the Force said: “Shortly before 9.30pm last night, police were called by the ambulance service to report a medical incident which had occurred earlier in the evening on Leeds Road, Huddersfield.
“A teenager has suffered a medical episode and was taken to hospital for treatment.”
A man who saw the ambulances at the scene said: “There were three ambulances, a doctor’s car and the air ambulance. One ambulance left with blue lights.”
