Head coach of HUDDERSFIELD TOWN, Andre Breitenreiter, has made a final appeal to fans to “stay together” over the final stretch, stating that the team will only succeed in securing a championship if they do so.

A portion of the travelling Town supporters publicly criticised Breitenreiter for his decision to stick with his starting lineup of 10 players during the team’s most recent game against bottom-of-the-table Rotherham United, which resulted in a frustrating 0-0 draw just before the season’s final international break.

The German felt that it was the right thing to do given the situation to reduce the possibility of a potentially devastating loss on a psychological level, but many Town supporters disagreed, and their disapproval infuriated the fifty-year-old.

Breitenreiter, whose team hosts Coventry City on Good Friday, commented, “Absolutely, because I try to go this way as a head coach,” regarding the importance of maintaining composure. To be honest, I didn’t discover this following the Rotherham game.

I was baffled by the response. I can appreciate your long-term frustration when you finish ten or twelve years later in 16th place or worse and only twice better.

I think it’s crucial to emphasise once more how crucial it is to stick together.

We need our fans, and they showed up for the team in every other game, which is exactly what we need.

The response following Rotherham’s 0-0 victory with ten players… Normally, Rotherham would have had one more shot to defeat 10 men in a single game, and the chances of winning would have been greater, but they were out of luck.

“Fans should lend the boys all the support they can muster. There are eight games left, and it is crucial that we stick together.

I am 100% certain that I will be able to stay in the league with this opportunity. There is no chance, though, if we part ways.

After missing action since early February due to a groyne injury, Rhys Healey is back in the mix on Friday. Bojan Radulovic, a January newcomer, is also available.

Despite their difficult beginnings to their Town careers, Breitenreiter thinks both have the ability to leave a lasting impression in the run home.

The Terriers manager went on, “I’ve had some talks with Bojan in the last few days,” despite the fact that he was still without Tom Lees (calf).

“He had a pretty rough beginning, and being out was tough for him and all the other guys as well.

He has been practicing with the team for ten days without suffering from a minor ailment. He has shown that he is a talented striker who can score goals.

As you can see, the Championship is considerably stronger and requires more time than the Finnish league.

But as you can see, he is a talented player, and Rhys is the same.

He was injured at Huddersfield and has sustained numerous injuries in the past. However, he has now put in a lot of training, shown me that he is a total professional, and convinced me to add him to the squad for Friday!

He told me he could score goals and he’s ready. We require objectives. Perhaps I should give it to him.
