A 79-year-old man was hospitalised, according to police, following the incident on Wednesday.
According to authorities, a 79-year-old man in Huddersfield was struck by a van and has a significant head injury.
At approximately 11:00 BST on Wednesday, a brown Mercedes Sprinter van struck a pedestrian as it turned right off of Wood Street.
Following the event, West Yorkshire Police reported that the man’s status in the hospital was stable.
The police are requesting that anyone who witnessed the collision or the car or pedestrian’s prior actions get in touch with them.
