Though they put on a strong show, the Tigers—who had drawn their previous three league games coming up against the league leaders—will have been irritated by Vardy’s quick punishment of them, which came just seconds after Zaroury had put them ahead on the hour.
However, Liam Rosenior’s team has now gone seven games without a loss, which is their second-longest run of the season. They will now go nearly three weeks without a game until they play again, at home against Stoke on Good Friday. After that, they will travel to Turkey on Monday for a week-long training camp in the warm weather before returning for the remaining nine games.
