Hull FC will face two of their 2025 signings on Sunday.

This Sunday afternoon, Hull FC will play two of its 2025 acquisitions, John Asiata and Zak Hardaker. The pair, along with former Hull players Brad Dwyer and Darnell McIntosh, are part of Leigh Leopards’ 21-man roster for the match against the Black and Whites.

Leigh, who are playing their third game in eleven days, will be missing their star full-back Matt Moylan for the match, along with two other key members of their spine in Ben McNamara and Gareth O’Brien.

Elsewhere, Tom Amone comes back into the Leopards side after a head knock, with mid-season signings Aaron Pene and Bailey Hodgson, who hails from the city of Hull and is the older brother of FC hooker Jeylan Hodgson, also included.

Asiata, meanwhile, has signed a three-year deal at Hull FC from 2025 to become a marquee player. He will be joined by Hardaker, who has penned a two-year deal. Oliver Holmes has also signed on a two-year contract with the Airlie Birds next season, with Ed Chamberlain, who is currently on loan, completing the quartet on a three-year deal. Tom Briscoe also arrived at the club earlier this year from the Leythers.

Leigh trounced Hull 54-4 earlier this season and has won all three encounters between the two teams since they returned to Super League, looking to win a second consecutive double over Hull. Up to now, the two teams have faced off nine times in the summer season, splitting four victories and one draw.
