The Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners has expressed its support for an “all-way stop” proposed for the intersection of County Route 617 (Sydney Road), Hogback Road and Lower Landsdown Road in Franklin Township after the tragic crash on Thursday, Aug. 22, that took the life of North Hunterdon student Sophia DeTorres on in Franklin Township.
At the formal request of Franklin Township to enhance roadway safety at the intersection of Route 617 (Sydney Road), Hogback Road, and Lower Landsdown Road, the Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners are taking action to install an all-way stop.
