Police searching for a missing Jarrow woman have found a body.
Authorities in charge of the Jarrow woman’s disappearance investigation have verified that a body has been discovered.

On Wednesday afternoon, March 20, Alyson Walker was reported missing from Sunderland’s city centre.

Since then, Northumbria Police officers have been conducting in-depth investigations in an effort to locate the 56-year-old.
Regretfully, authorities have now verified that on Thursday, March 21, in the evening, a body was discovered in the Boldon neighbourhood of South Tyneside.

Although formal identification has not yet taken place, Northumbria Police has confirmed that Alyson’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving help from specialised officers.
By posting appeals and offering information on potential sightings of Alyson, police have expressed their gratitude to everyone for their assistance in the search for her.

Officers have stated that they don’t think anyone else was involved, and a report will be written up for the coroner.
