Four people have died, and a teenager left with life-threatening injuries, after a car crash in a village in Kent.

Kent Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following the collision in Lenham Road, Headcorn, which involved a bronze Toyota Hilux.

Officers were called shortly before 1am on Sunday and attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service.

Four people, aged 18, 19, 25 and 44, who were inside the vehicle were declared dead at the scene.

A 15-year-old boy, who was also a passenger, was taken to a hospital in London with life-threatening injuries.

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is investigating.

Officers have appealed for any witnesses to get in touch.
