Officers raid an abandoned Kilmarnock structure following “suspicious activity.”
Kilmarnock police raided a town centre building over the weekend in response to a tip about “suspicious activity.”
On Saturday afternoon, police stormed the building on King Street.
Authorities have verified that a 31-year-old guy was taken into custody and charged with drugs crimes, violation of bail, and attempted theft.
A representative for officers Scotland stated: “On Saturday, April 6, 2024, at around 12:25 p.m., officers were alerted to a report of suspicious activity at a vacant property in King Street, Kilmarnock.
When police arrived, a 31-year-old male was taken into custody and charged with drug crimes, violation of bail, and attempted theft.
On Monday, April 8, 2024, he is scheduled to appear before Kilmarnock Sheriff Court, and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
The same disused building was raided by police last month and a cannabis cultivation worth £150,000 was discovered by authorities.
