The Paint Shed, the UK’s most recommended independent paint retailer, has established a new store in Kilmarnock.
The Paint Shed, based in Stirling, distributes a comprehensive selection of trade paints, designer paints, and accessories to both independent painters and decorators and retail customers via its website and a network of outlets throughout Scotland and the North of England.
The Kilmarnock location is the company’s 21st outlet. It officially opened on Monday, March 11 in Units 3 and 4 Glencairn Industrial Estate, 44 Low Glencairn Street.
Michael Rolland, managing director of The Paint Shed, said on the Kilmarnock store opening: “We had been seeking for the appropriate opportunity in Kilmarnock for a couple of years and were fortunate to acquire a beautiful site.
“The store, led by Barry Nunn and his colleagues, will house all of the biggest brands in the trade paint market under one roof. Johnstone’s, Dulux, and Crown mixing machines, as well as the renowned Paint Shed service, will provide the local market with a diverse and affordable product offering. We will also carry Osmo, Benjamin Moore, Little Greene, and Zinsser Allcoat for trade and retail customers.
