Police swoop on Kilmarnock homes after ‘suspicious activity

KilmarnockĀ police swooped on a town centre building at the weekend after a report of ‘suspicious activity’ was made.

Cops raided the King Street building on Saturday afternoon.

Authorities have verified that a 31-year-old guy was taken into custody and charged with drugs crimes, violation of bail, and attempted theft.

A representative for officers Scotland stated: “On Saturday, April 6, 2024, at around 12:25 p.m., officers were alerted to a report of suspicious activity at a vacant property in King Street, Kilmarnock.

Officers attended and a 31-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with attempted theft, drugs offences and breach of bail.

ā€œHe is due to appear before Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, April 8, 2024 and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.ā€

The same disused building was raided by police last month and a cannabis cultivation worth Ā£150,000 was discovered by authorities.
