Police sealed off a street in Kilmarnock following a report of disturbance in the area.
Officers locked down Morris Crescent in Hurlford after being called out to the scene along with Scottish Ambulance Service crews.
Officials have confirmed this morning that a 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and that enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.30am on Monday, April 29, 2024 we were called to a disturbance on Morris Crescent, Hurlford, Kilmarnock.
“A 48-year-old male was taken into custody in relation to the incident once officers arrived. There are still inquiries open.”
