At 6:08 a.m., two automobiles and a van were engaged in an incident on the A47.
A police spokesman verified that the driver of one of the automobiles passed away at the scene from his injuries.
The man in his 50s who was operating the second vehicle was transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital due to severe injuries, and he is still there.
Anyone who may have seen the collision or who may have any pertinent dashcam footage is someone who the officers would like to talk to.
They would especially like to talk to anyone who may have witnessed a disabled car in the vicinity at the time of the accident.
