Car and tractor trailer involved in crash on PA Turnpike
MANHEIM, Pennsylvania In an early Saturday morning vehicle accident in Lancaster County, two adults and a girl perished.

The collision on the Pennsylvania Turnpike occurred just before 4:30 a.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The collision in Penn Township happened close to mile marker 268.8 and involved an automobile and a tractor trailer.

The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office declared all three occupants of the automobile dead at the spot.

The tractor trailer driver was transported to a nearby hospital.

The cause of the crash is still being looked into by State Police.

A cause and manner of death have not yet been determined by the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, pending an autopsy.

The victims’ names have not yet been made public so that family members can be informed.
