Leeds United has been alerted to the possibility of increased interest in one of their players this summer.

The future of Crysencio Summerville could cause uncertainty for Leeds United this summer. The 22-year-old has been one of the Whites’ most impressive players thus far this year; in fact, at last month’s ceremony, he was named the EFL Championship Player of the Year. It makes sense, given that he has already contributed a whopping thirty goals this season.

However, it is his play in England’s second division that has many wondering what will happen to Daniel Farke’s team should they not win promotion this year. This evening, Norwich City will make their Elland Road debut. Leeds could now be two games away from making a Premier League comeback.

Summerville is expected to leave United if they don’t get promoted in the coming weeks, according to a Daily Mail report. A number of teams are reportedly already inquiring about his availability for the upcoming campaign.

It is rumoured that Chelsea, Aston Villa, Liverpool, and Newcastle are all interested in the Dutchman, who has excelled for Farke’s team this season.

In the event that Leeds fails to immediately return to the top flight of England, other players such as goalkeeper Illan Meslier, winger Willy Gnonto, striker Georginio Rutter, and teenage midfielder Archie Grey are rumoured to be considered for exits.

Leeds would love to hold onto the well-liked forward ahead of what could be a difficult summer, but Summerville is believed to demand a fee in the neighbourhood of £30 million should they entertain any exit talks.
