After completing a last-minute loan move to Colchester United, Anthony Scully is eager for a new chapter in his life and the chance to rejoin boss Danny Cowley.
After a challenging and injury-plagued stint at Portsmouth, the former Lincoln City winger stated his delight about working with Cowley and finding his form again in League Two. Although the two did not collaborate at Lincoln, Scully disclosed that Cowley was being watched by the Imps when he was at the club.
After a fast-paced day of discussions, Scully’s transfer to Colchester was completed in just 25 minutes after the 11 p.m. transfer deadline. Since moving to Portsmouth from Wigan last year, the 25-year-old has battled injuries and has been looking for a way out.
