Police arrest people involve in series of burglaries and car thefts.

Police in Lincolnshire are investigating a series of occurrences in the Sleaford region that are part of a run of 13 car thefts and burglaries.

Thirteen successful or attempted house invasions have been reported to Lincolnshire Police in the last four days.

They have occasionally taken automobiles before stealing the keys. Additionally, reports of strange behaviour surrounding houses and cars have been made.

This weekend, there have been four incidents in and around Sleaford.

Sleaford criminals broke a window on Ancaster Drive on Saturday, March 2, in order to enter and search a building. This occurred on Friday between 1pm and 1pm on Saturday.

Moreover, strange activity was observed on Windsor Drive in Sleaford soon after 8.40 p.m. on Saturday. Before he fled, a man on a driveway got startled and started peering at the caller’s cars. near 9:30 p.m. on the same day, an incident akin to this one was reported near Covel Road, Sleaford.

Around 7.40 p.m. on Saturday, there was a burglary at a residence on Bridge Street in Marston. The perpetrators allegedly broke in and looked through the house.

Additionally, there was another report of a break-in at a residence at Blackthorns, Southfields, Sleaford between 1.50 and 2.10 in the morning on Sunday, during which time doors were forced and the contents were examined.

Over the weekend, there were additional car thefts and break-ins in Lincoln, North Hykeham, Waddington, and Stamford.

“We are investigating these offences and have been speaking to victims, carrying out house to house enquiries, collecting CCTV, and speaking to people about their concerns,” a spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police stated.

We need everyone’s assistance in reporting anything they believe to be suspicious so we can gather further evidence and look into the circumstances. By coming forward with information, our communities will help our investigative officers find and apprehend the guilty.

“At this point, we’re not sure if these offences are related, but we’ll be keeping an open mind as our investigations proceed,” they continued.

“We are requesting that anyone who resides close to any of these incidents look through any security or doorbell footage they may have. Anyone with information on cars or activities that may be connected to these offences is welcome to contact us. Anyone who has knowledge or has noticed suspicious activity and hasn’t already reported it to us is also welcome to contact us. Our detectives are looking into a lot of different areas, and any video or information they find will help them piece together the crime.
