Liverpool’s chances of signing Ange Postecoglou as a potential Jurgen Klopp replacement are minimal.
According to Football Insider, the Australian feels at ease in his role as Tottenham’s head coach. Similarly, Spurs ‘would not contemplate any big-money compensation’ for the 56-year-old.

The former Celtic manager has led the club to fourth place in the Premier League standings this season, garnering praise from his Liverpool opponent.
“The Spurs are doing well, and Ange looks like a great guy; I’m looking forward to seeing him. “I think [fans] were all desperate for offensive football, and he’s doing it,” the 56-year-old said ahead of their league debut (yahoo!news).
“Everyone knew what kind of coach he was after watching Celtic play in recent years.
“Tottenham fans were all desperate for offensive football and in a year when Harry Kane has left, he has done extremely well and it will be a real test for both of us.”
Where do you stand on the shortlist?
There’s no denying that Postecoglou may be underappreciated as a manager, with many criticizing his original selection at Tottenham.
However, the renewed faith in the fan base and the appealing style of play (without sacrificing points) are not to be overlooked.
Still, we’d be astonished if the coach’s name appeared higher on the list than younger hopefuls from throughout Europe.
Sporting’s Ruben Amorim and Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso, for example, are likely to be deemed better possibilities.
