Predicted Liverpool Lineup Against Bournemouth: Bradley, Jota To Start; Nunez Up Front

Darwin Nunez will lead Liverpool’s attack against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.

Liverpool will face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday evening looking to extend their undefeated streak in the Premier League. The Reds have a strong record against their hosts, but they may have to work hard to beat the revitalized Cherries.

Liverpool will miss many important players due to injuries. Joel Matip is out for the season. Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic should play next month.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson will miss. An injury also plagues Kostas Tsimikas. Also, Dominik Szoboszlai should return next week. Mohamed Salah and Wataru Endo are on international duty. In his pre-game press conference, Jurgen Klopp highlighted team news.

He said, “They are all positive but not ready. But they are all going in the right direction, getting closer and closer and closer. Some of them might be in kind of part of team training next week. But for the Bournemouth game I don’t expect anybody back. I hope nobody [else] will be out until then.”

“But after Bournemouth, maybe for Fulham, we will see how the boys do. But they are all close. Trent close, Dom close, Robbo close. All going in the right direction, that’s all positive, but for the weekend’s game, no.”

Liverpool will start Alisson Becker in goal. Alexander-Arnold, Robertson, and Tsimikas will be replaced by Conor Bradley and Joe Gomez at fullback. Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk will start at center defense.

The midfield will start Alexis Mac Allister, Curtis Jones, and Harvey Elliott as holders. As Jota and Elliott contribute inventiveness, Mac Allister controls the game’s tempo and helps defend. Finally, Darwin Nunez will lead Liverpool against Bournemouth, with Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz serving as widemen.

Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson; Bradley, Konate, van Dijk, Gomez; Elliott, Mac Allister, Jones; Diaz, Nunez, Jota
