The mother and four-year-old daughter were last seen in February, and the police are searching for them.
Joana, 39, and her daughter Aliannah, are missing from their Luton home; they were last heard from approximately three weeks ago, according to Bedfordshire Police.
The force further stated that they have requested assistance from the public in locating them since they are “concerned for their welfare”.
It is known that the mother and daughter are connected to Birmingham’s Handsworth neighbourhood.
Bedfordshire Police wrote on social media: “Joana is described as being five feet nine inches tall, black, and of slim frame. Her dark shoulder-length hair is frequently pulled back into a ponytail.
“Aliannah is also characterised as being black, slender, and having black Afro-style hair that is frequently braided.
“We would urge the community not to speculate on the circumstances of this missing appeal.”
The public was encouraged to contact 101 or visit the Bedfordshire Police website “immediately” to report any sightings of the mother and daughter.
