Luton Town could be without up to 10 players for their Premier League clash with Wolves this weekend.

Wolves must first play AFC Bournemouth at Molineux on Wednesday night as they navigate through their own injury crisis. Gary O’Neil is without four players at least with another four doubtful.

However, both teams may be without a number of important players for their Saturday matchup against the Hatters. Luton currently has less absentees than only Manchester United and Newcastle United.

This season, Tom Lockyer, Marvellous Nakamba, Jacob Brown, and Amari’i Bell will not be participating in any more games. Lockyer’s career is currently on hold while he awaits additional medical testing after suffering a heart arrest against Bournemouth in December.

Nakmba has been sidelined with a knee ailment since December. Only after a brief layoff versus Man City had he returned to action.

Also out due to a knee ailment is Jacob Brown. A problem with his knee’s cartilage that developed throughout training necessitated an operation.

Amari’i Bell was another who needed surgery. Rob Edwards acknowledged that Bell’s hamstring issue would probably keep him out of the game.

Although Dan Potts’ season isn’t quite done, he was in a race against the clock. He hasn’t played yet this season due to a protracted injury.

Mads Andersen has a comparable tale to tell. In order to expedite his recuperation from a calf injury that has sidelined him for the majority of the second half of the season, he returned to his home country of Denmark.

Both Elijah Adebayo and Chiedozie Ogbene are striving to play in their last few games. The match on Saturday is too soon for the two players who are sidelined due to thigh problems, but

Right-back Issa Kabore has to have an evaluation because she is dealing with an ankle problem. Illness kept Reece Burke from playing more than 45 minutes against Brentford.
