Reasons why Luton striker is not selected for the Euro 2024 Finals.

Jacob Brown of Luton was not included in Scotland’s 28-man provisional roster for this summer’s 2024 European Championship in Germany.

After being acquired from Stoke City, the 26-year-old made 22 appearances for the Hatters across all competitions this season. He scored three goals, including two in the Premier League, including the game-winning goal against Crystal Palace back in November. Brown, who previously played for Sheffield Wednesday, made his senior debut for Scotland in November 2021 and has since earned eight caps.

Unfortunately, a knee injury sustained early in February cut short his season, ending it prematurely. Although manager Rob Edwards had not ruled him out earlier this month, he has not been included in the squad for the two friendlies against Finland and Gibraltar, as well as the tournament the following month, where Scotland is drawn into a group with Germany, Switzerland, and Hungary.
