Insider United, a social media account with insight into United injuries, reports that the left-back will train today.

Medical staff will examine the 28-year-old. Unless the examination shows otherwise, he should play against Luton Town.

Having Shaw back immediately would be crucial for United.

Victor Lindelof replaced Shaw at halftime against Villans. Stockholm struggled at left-back and lost possession seven times.

Erik ten Hag could not play Diogo Dalot at left-back with Aaron Wan-Bissaka unavailable. Restoring Shaw immediately would help.

He still need caution from the club. Shaw returned after an extended muscle injury layoff this season but lost before the holidays.

Ten Hag should avoid starting the £32 million-rated player on Sunday unless he is fully healthy due to his injury history with Manchester United.

United hopes to win their fourth league game at Kenilworth Road. Contest won’t be simple. Liverpool and Newcastle United lost at Hatters’ stadium.
