Paul Scholes Compliments Three Man Utd Players

After the 2-1 Premier League win at Aston Villa on Sunday, Manchester United icon Paul Scholes praised three players.

A superb road performance against Unai Emery’s team gave the Red Devils their third straight league win Wednesday.

The club deserved a 1-0 halftime advantage. Rasmus Hojlund scored after Harry Maguire’s great header.

Douglas Luiz pulled Villa back in after an hour, but Scott McTominay scored again to give United the win.

An excellent Diogo Dalot cross found McTominay at the top. After the game, Scholes praised three players.

Casemiro’s comeback is a ‘big plus’ for the Red Devils, while Maguire was ‘very good’ in both boxes, according to the legend.

Former United player praised McTominay. He’s a threat and makes a ‘big difference’ off the bench, according to Scholes.

After beating Villa, United drew within six points of fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur. They now have a solid Champions League chance.

The club trails fifth-place Aston Villa by five points. The position might possibly qualify for the Champions League if the remaining English clubs do well in Europe.

The league has much to play for. Erik ten Hag wants the winning streak to continue. The Saturday match against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road should suit them.
