Manchester United’s undesired talents Casemiro and Aaron Wan-Bissaka might be signed by Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.
Man Utd have struggled to sell deadwood in recent seasons, but the Saudi Pro League has presented new transfer market opportunities.
According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils might clear space by selling Casemiro, who has struggled this season, and Wan-Bissaka, who is fighting to play ahead of Diogo Dalot.
Crystal Palace and West Ham are monitoring Wan-Bissaka’s fate after Man Utd exercised their option for a year extension until 2025.
But although the former England U21 international may go, Casemiro, who is under contract until 2026 and turns 32 next month, will be hard to sell.
Ronaldo Wants Close Pal Casemiro At Al-Nassr.
However, Ronaldo is helping Man Utd. Five-time Ballon d’Or winner is reportedly “encouraging” a transfer from a player who played with the Portugal icon at Real Madrid and Man Utd.
Ronaldo, Dalot, Antony, and Fred were Casemiro’s “closest” Old Trafford teammates, according to United’s website.
Al-Nassr’s double takeover, which has not been valued, comes as the Saudi Pro League’s long-term sustainability as a challenger to European football is questioned.
Karim Benzema, their most prominent player, is reportedly disgruntled, while Jordan Henderson has left the Middle East after six months to join Ajax.
Aymeric Laporte, who later recanted his statement, did concede that many European players are dissatisfied after moving to the Pro League for significant money in the summer.
