Rhys Bennett might join League Two as the eighth Manchester United loanee in January.
The 20-year-old defender wants his first Football League experience and is considering departing this month.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Bennett has joined League Two leaders Stockport County till the end of the season.
The announcement ahead of Stockport County’s match with Notts County this weekend might ensure Bennett makes his debut quickly.
United suffered defense injuries this season, but Bennett was not used like Willy Kambwala.
Bennett has been benched four times by Ten Hag, including twice this term.
Bennett played 67 times for United’s younger levels and won the FA younger Cup in 2022.
