In an effort to give Manchester United the best possible offer in their chase of Mason Greenwood, Marseille has been working nonstop over the past twenty-four hours.
As they work to finalise a deal for his signing, the French powerhouses have named the Manchester United attacker as their main objective.
Greenwood would rather sign with the French team than pursue other possibilities, and Marseille has been in contact with the forward’s entourage.
Additionally, they have been in negotiations with Manchester United to try and come to an understanding regarding the transfer fee.
Sportitalia, an Italian broadcaster, reports that Marseille has been putting a lot of effort into being ready to make Manchester United an offer.
They’re working on a deal that would persuade Manchester United to sell them Greenwood this summer.
Before deciding to sell the attacker during the current transfer window, Manchester United has been holding out for a sum greater than €30 million.
Earlier in the summer, Lazio made an offer of €20 million plus a 50% sell-on, but it was quickly rejected.
Greenwood has been informed by Manchester United that they want to sell him.
