Fans point out Chad Readers’ Mansfield Town Player of the Year.

It’s time to vote on the Chad Readers’ Mansfield Town Player of the Year.

Throughout a terrific season, with promotion still on the horizon, there have been several outstanding performers in a high-quality squad. So, who will succeed last year’s winner, Elliott Hewitt, in claiming the trophy?

Davis Keillor-Dunn has excelled with his ball-playing ability and finishing proficiency, which has propelled him to the top of the goal scoring lists this season.

Last-minute addition Aden Flint has been a tower of strength at the back, captaining the side and winning practically everything in the air in a season in which the Stags have conceded the fewest goals in the division.

Behind him is immaculate goalkeeper Christy Pym, who, despite having nothing to do in many games, has maintained his concentration and made numerous key saves during the season.

Stephen Quinn, a veteran former Irish international, may be in his penultimate year, but he has defied his age with a great season that showcases his entire potential.

Lucas Akins has also been fantastic and, despite playing multiple positions, has achieved double figures in goals while being dependable. Jordan Bowery has also been Mr Versatile, with teenage Leicester loanee Lewis Brunt a revelation at the defence and Louis Reed outstanding in midfield.
