Authorities have verified that the charred remains discovered next to a Motherwell football pitch belonged to a male individual.
Following the finding, officers were dispatched to Margaret Drive in the town of North Lanarkshire on Saturday at around 9:00.
His death is being investigated as inexplicable, and investigations are underway to determine the complete facts surrounding it.
