Samuel Healey, a highly anticipated hooker, has committed to the Warriors for three years, through the end of the 2027 NRL season. He will join the team in the Top 30.
Samuel, the 21-year-old son of former Sharks star Mitch Healey, has participated in 36 NSW Cup games for the Sharks feeder club, the Newtown Jets, over the last two seasons.
As he and the Jets get ready to take on the Canberra Raiders on Saturday afternoon in hopes of securing a position in the NSW Cup Grand Final against the North Sydney Bears, he will keep adding to these games.

Healy has averaged 56 running metres and 23 tackles per game this season in the NSW Cup. He has also scored eight tries, made sixty tackle busts, and assisted on four try assists.
“We have identified Sam as a player with tremendous upside and he is a really promising young dummy half,” stated Andrew McFadden, general manager of recruitment, pathways, and development for the New Zealand Warriors.
