Newcastle United hopes to return to Europe after competing in the Champions League the previous season.

Newcastle United fans are content with their current situation after the Premier League schedule was released. Eddie Howe’s men do not experience any genuine “death spells” in 2024–2025—a fact that has not always been the case.

Southampton, the de facto bottom-ranked team in the division after winning the Championship play-offs, is up first at St. James’ Park. Newcastle wants to rekindle their post-takeover excitement following a disappointing campaign in their previous league.

Unlike the previous two seasons, finishing in seventh place was not enough to qualify for European football. The Magpies’ Conference League spot was taken away from them by Manchester United, who stunned Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

For Newcastle and Howe, it seems like a make-or-break season as the PIF-led administration attempts to gain ground in their pursuit of world dominance. This is how a new supercomputer projected the Magpies’ performance for the upcoming season.
