Notwithstanding Newport County’s recent financial struggles, the club is well aware that its supporters are suffering just as much from the present cost of living crisis.

The club has decided to freeze all adult, senior, and youth (16–21) season ticket prices for the upcoming season in coordination with Supporters Trust consultation, in light of the price increase from the previous season.

In an attempt to simplify ticket office operations, the club has made minor adjustments to the age divisions. Among these adjustments is the elimination of the distinct under-12 and automatic free under-6 categories. The latter is because matchday seats are no longer in use due to poor matchday attendance among those using the complimentary under-6 season tickets.

Nonetheless, patrons who frequently bring children under the age of six should get in touch with the ticket office, and we will make every effort to fulfil your request at no cost.

Season passes will not be offered for the North Terrace. The North Terrace won’t be open for business the following season due to growing matchday staging expenses, unless demand requires it. The inoperable platform will function normally.

In addition, the club would like to notify supporters a year in advance that, in order to align with most other EFL clubs, the senior age group would be raised from 60 to 65 for the 2025–2026 season.

The age rise will not apply to anyone who become 60 years old in time for the upcoming season. Even if they are younger than 65, those who now meet the requirements for a senior ticket will continue to get it at the senior rate upon the implementation of the new age group for any “renewals.”

For instance, if a supporter is renewing, they will continue to get the senior rate even after the age rise takes effect, if they are now 61 years of age or older. Any discontinuation of season ticket membership will result in fresh applications being accepted at the senior 65+ rate. During the offseason, matchday ticket details will be announced.

Season passes will be available online and in person at the ticket office starting on Wednesday, May 1.

There will also be a direct debit facility where supporters can spread the cost of their season ticket across May, June and July with three equal payments. Deadline for spreading the cost is May 20. After this date, full payment upfront will be required.

Payments will be split into three equal instalments, with the following dates:

  • 1st Payment: May 31
  • 2nd Payment: June 28
  • 3rd and Final Payment: July 31

Important Note: Because of our combined ticketing system with Dragons RFC, Direct Debit payments will display under the account name “WRU Gwent Rugby Limited.” Please don’t hesitate to email or visit the ticket office if you have any questions about setting up Direct Debit.

Our “Early Bird” discounts are available to supporters and will end on Friday, May 31. Adult early bird season tickets will only cost £385; senior tickets will cost £299; young adult tickets will cost £158; and under-16 tickets will cost just £60 (or £2.60 per game).

Before going on sale to the general public, current season ticket holders have until Friday, May 31, to guarantee their current seat.

The team is urging fans to use the online tool for renewal and purchases. With the launch of a new mobile app and website featuring a single sign-on feature that will connect all fan accounts for convenience of purchase, the club will be embracing a digital-first strategy starting with the upcoming season.

Emails regarding tickets should be sent to ticket.office@newport-county.co.uk; more information will be provided soon.

It is essential that the club raises its commercial earnings to somewhat offset the season ticket price freeze. You can obtain our latest commercial brochure by contacting commercial@newport-county.co.uk.

The team hopes to have a bright future with all of its supporters and would like to thank them for their ongoing support.
