We are happy to confirm the planned schedule and procedure for the 2024 Trust board election.

The schedule will look like this: –

On Friday, May 31st, nomination packets and election details will be accessible. Send an email to elections@ncafctrust.org to request a packet for prospective candidates.

The deadline for receiving valid nominations is Friday, June 21st at 7 p.m.

Members may vote from Friday, June 28 through Monday, July 15, should an election be necessary.

Only fully paid-up members (16 years of age and older as of April 25) who continue to be fully paid-up members throughout the process will be allowed to run for office, as was confirmed at the most recent Special General Meeting. Voting will only be available to fully paid-up members (16 years of age and over) as of May 31.

The voting process will be done online. The election will be managed by the Trust in collaboration with Mi-Voice, an impartial and knowledgeable business. While we would encourage all members to vote digitally whenever feasible to save on costs and administration, an exception may be made for a postal vote.

Eight positions are available. Candidates who get eight or fewer valid nominations by the deadline mentioned above will be elected without opposition.

By sending an email to elections@ncafctrust.org, any member who is interested in running may request confidential advice and information from one of the current Trust Directors or executives. We appreciate everyone who has already been in touch.

On Friday, May 31st, a second announcement on the nomination period’s commencement will be sent out.
