The man was rushed to hospital
An automobile and motorcycle collided near Newquay, seriously injuring the motorcycle rider. Yesterday, Sunday, August 4, at approximately 1:20 pm, emergency services were summoned to the A3075 near Rejerrah.
The rider, a 40-year-old Newquay resident, was taken to Treliske Hospital by ambulance and later moved to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. Up until 5:40 p.m., the route between Goonhavern and Monkey Tree Holiday Park was closed.
Investigating officers are now appealing to the public for information on the crash. They are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
“Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and asking anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact them,” stated Devon and Cornwall Police.
“Please use log number 466 of August 4th when contacting police over the phone at 101 or online.”
