After a car crashed into a field, firefighters utilised a triple extension ladder to rescue a person and a dog. It happened early on Bank Holiday Monday, close to Saltash.

A few details regarding the occurrence have been made public by Cornwall Fire Service. At 1:15 a.m., it occurred at St. Germans. According to the statement, one victim and their dog were taken out of their car when it veered off the road. To enter a field and remove the victims, crews used a triple extension ladder.

On Sunday, it happened at 10:36 p.m. According to the service, “Crews from Truro and Tolvaddon responded to a call for a single car collision with a trapped person.

In some way, the motorist avoided suffering severe injuries in this collision.

“The vehicle was on a side embankment, so the firefighters folded down the roof and steadied it. Additionally, the vehicle’s interior was cut to release the imprisoned victim.”

 

The car was completely destroyed in the collision, which was shown in spectacular detail by the Tolvaddon Community Fire Station. “Black Watch, Tolvaddon, and Truro’s On Call attended a serious road accident on the A30 last night,” the statement read. After using cutting equipment to fold down the roof, emergency personnel took the driver to the hospital.

“The driver’s injuries were luckily not too serious.”
