Tributes paid to ‘brilliant’ after man, 55, and woman, 18, died in M1 crash

The relatives of a man and a woman who perished in an M1 collision have given their loved ones a tribute. The Range Rover skidded off the motorway and into trees, killing both of them in the incident. On Easter Monday, at approximately 8:10 p.m., the silver Range Rover crashed between Bricket Wood and Watford.

Two people lost their lives at the scene: Darren Reilly, 55, and Tyler Cox, 18. Three other occupants of the vehicle were injured in the collision, according to Hertfordshire Constabulary. A male and a female have been released from the hospital and are recuperating at home from their injuries, but a lady is still in the hospital. Through the police force, their families shared tributes honouring their lives.

In fact, the best dad who loved us with all his heart. He would do anything for anyone in his heart and made sure he went above and beyond for his own. He lived life to the absolute max. In his 55 years he did more than anyone else could manage in two lifetimes. Dad had the biggest personality, the biggest heart and when he was passionate about something, everyone knew.
