An autopsy determined the shooting to be a homicide, police said.

Saint Louis — On Monday, June 3, a guy was discovered shot to death in the Northampton neighbourhood of St. Louis. St. Louis police opened a homicide investigation following the incident after receiving the autopsy results.

A guy was discovered with a head wound inside a garage in the 5000 block of Lindenwood Avenue, and authorities were called to the scene just before 2:30 p.m. on June 3, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. At the scene, he was declared deceased.

On June 4, the Medical Examiner’s Office notified the Homicide Division that the victim, Christopher Grey, 25, of St. Louis, had been shot in the head and that it was concluded that his death was a homicide. The case was taken over by the Homicide Division.

There were no information known regarding the shooting’s cause or whether police had any suspects as of Monday morning.

The Bullet-Related A community-based clinic in St. Louis called Injury Clinic (BRIC) assists victims of gunshot wounds in their recovery. The BRIC was created to assist those who have been shot and are being released from the emergency room.
