Authorities have revealed that a woman’s body was tragically discovered in a community close to Northampton in the River Nene.
The Willow View neighbourhood in Kislingbury, which is close to the River Nene, was sealed off by Northamptonshire Police yesterday, Sunday, February 11, between the hours of 8 a.m. and about 1 p.m.
An eyewitness described seeing many police officers, a fire engine, a van and boat for water rescue, and maybe three police cars in the vicinity.
The woman’s body was discovered in the river just before eight in the morning on Sunday, according to confirmation from the police this morning, Monday.
“An investigation into the woman’s unexplained death continues, but it is not currently being treated as suspicious,” a police spokesman stated. The forensic post-mortem is scheduled for today, .
