A man was fatally stabbed in Norwich, and now there is a manhunt and a murder investigation underway.
It follows a Friday evening call at 6:44 p.m. to Paragon Place from the police.
In spite of the rescue personnel’ best efforts, the man in his 30s was declared deceased on the spot.
Over the weekend, there will be more police patrols in the area, and the area is still roped off.
“We recognise the concerns people in the area will have,” stated Detective Superintendent Mike Brown of Norfolk’s major investigation team. “We would urge anyone to speak to our officers.”
“We do believe the parties involved were known to each other and there is no wider risk to the public,” he continued, “even though we are still in the early stages of the investigation.”
“While these investigations are ongoing, we won’t be disclosing the suspect’s description. We are pursuing several avenues of inquiry to track down the culprit.
“This will of course be reviewed as the investigation progresses and should we need to a description will be released.”
