Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White has now emerged as a target for two Premier League clubs. This comes on the back of some financial uncertainties at Forest that have seen the club deducted four points.

In order to balance the books in the summer, Forest may need to sell one or two of their best players. It appears that Gibbs-White will be in high demand and that at least one key player will have to depart.
By the time the next cycle is audited, the Reds will be approaching the PSR barrier once more. Forest won’t want to let go of all of its best players, but it seems probable that one or two will go.

After Forest lost points, the inescapable connections quickly became apparent. The Reds may file an appeal, but it seems like the team got away with it for the most part.

West Ham and Tottenham are reportedly among the teams that have added Forest star Jonathan Gibbs-White to their list of possible summer transfer window targets, according to TalkSPORT.

Tottenham and Forest enjoy a cordial connection. Brennan Johnson was acquired by Spurs from City Ground in the summer, and it seems that the discussions were amicable.

Regarding West Ham, they will undoubtedly be searching for a new number 10 come summertime. Manchester City has expressed interest in Lucas Paqueta, who may move on.
Since signing with Forest in the summer of 2022, Gibbs-White was a player for Wolves. He took up the number 10 spot right away, and in total he has contributed 13 assists and nine goals.
It appears inevitable that in the summer, Forest will need to see at least one star player. Taiwo Awoniyi, Murillo, and Gibbs-White are all expected to draw attention and fetch high transfer costs.

Gibbs-White is, in the end, the most technically proficient player at Forest, having been dubbed “extraordinary” by Garth Crooks during his time there.

Who Scored demonstrates that no Forest player has outperformed any other Reds player this season in terms of successful dribbles and crucial passes, and he excels at innovation.
The fact that Forest paid a high price for the player gives them an advantage over Gibbs-White. The Reds will therefore demand a big sum in return, and West Ham and Tottenham will need to make significant financial sacrifices.
