A family lawyer has stated that the man who was stamped on and kicked in the head by a police officer has a cyst on his brain.

The incident was captured on camera at Manchester Airport on Tuesday night, and when it went viral on social media, it caused a stir.

Following the release of the video, GMP previously stated that it acknowledged the “immense feeling of concern and worry that people feel.”

A day after video of the event at Manchester Airport went viral on social media, the attorney, Ahmed Yakoob, made comments in a statement outside Rochdale Police Station.

He added that after the incident, a CT scan revealed the individual, who the lawyer had identified as “Fahir,” had a cyst on his brain.

According to Mr. Yakoob, who is also assisting Fahir’s brother Amaad and their ageing mother, Fahir’s condition deteriorated over night.

The three of them allege that on Tuesday night at the airport, at least one Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officer assaulted them.

Mr. Yakoob went on to say that Fahir is related to a police officer in the force who is currently “afraid to go to work”.

He said, “He went in today and spoke to his supervisor, and the only reason he is not going to work is because he is fearing for his own safety.”

“GMP shame on you!”

On Wednesday night, some 200 protestors gathered in front of Rochdale Police Station; some of them yelled, “GMP shame on you!”

According to police, the protest was over “without incident”.
