Ole Miss Football has released Statement consining the injuries worries

The Ole Miss football team made a statement on injuries on the eve of their big conference and playoff game against LSU at Baton Rouge this Saturday. A conversation about faked injuries that has permeated collegiate football has revolved around the Rebels.

The message says as follows: “We acknowledge that our program has been discussed in relation to the recent attention that fake injuries have received in college football. In order to address concerns over recent injuries, we have been in contact with the National Coordinator for Football Officiating and have sent him pertinent medical data for consideration. Additionally, we have updated the SEC office, and our head coach will speak with our coaches and players to make sure we behave appropriately and comply with

In a game in which the Rebels sustained numerous injuries, Ole Miss defeated South Carolina on Saturday, 27-3. South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer was upset about the frequency.

Regarding the Ole Miss players, Beamer remarked cynically, “I hope they’re OK.” How frequently they sustain injuries following a first down or big play by the other offence intrigues me. Watching the Wake Forest game again makes sense because it occurs frequently. You watch the game between Kentucky, it occurs frequently.

This week, Bryan Kelly, the head coach of LSU, added his voice.

Kelly responded, “The SEC has a policy regarding it,” when questioned. “There is a sportsmanship policy in place that was put in place by the commissioner, and the SEC would take appropriate action if there was any intentional injury falsification. I can let the SEC assess that and leave it at that.
