Philippe Clement speaks to Rangers’ Under-18 team at this point following their victory in the Youth Cup final last night.
“I was aware that he was attending the game, but I had no idea that he would also show up afterwards. While we were celebrating on the field, the entire first-team coaching staff called for us to go inside and meet with the manager. That reveals a great deal about the man he is.
Because the guys have had the opportunity to practice with the first team, he is familiar with many of the faces, and after tonight, I’m sure he will know a few more.

Stevie Smith’s squad beat Aberdeen 2-1 at Hampden Park.
Following an incredible comeback in which goals from Josh Gentles and Paul Nsio sealed the win at the national stadium, the Light Blues were able to recapture the trophy.
During the game, Clement was photographed in the stands, observing how the future stars performed in comparison to the Dons.
Aberdeen representatives Alan Burrows, Graeme Shinnie, Jonny Hayes, and Connor Barron were there, along with club captain James Tavernier and CEO James Bisgrove.
At full time, Smith disclosed, Clement ran straight to the Rangers locker room to congratulate the young team.
Recently, a picture of the Belgian speaking to the U18s has gone viral on social media.
Following the game, Smith stated: “The manager spoke with the players in the dressing room.” He mentioned a couple things there that he’s really delighted with, and he’s noticed a few players.

“He observed both the technical skill and the necessary character that they will require at the highest level of play.
