Rangers star ‘agrees’ Wednesday deal and he could be joined at Owls by current Ibrox ace

This season, there may be some Rangers reminders at Sheffield Wednesday. A current Rangers star is rumoured to be wanted by Sheffield Wednesday, where he would join one ex-Ibrox ace. Josh Windass has been with the Owls since 2020, but his future was uncertain because his last deal expired. At the beginning of June, he was close to an agreement, but there were rumours that he might end up leaving. According to The Star, Windass “is looking set to stay at Sheffield Wednesday” with a deal “agreed” to keep him at Hillsborough.

57 goals and assists have been scored by the former Rangers star in 135 games since he joined Sheffield Wednesday from Wigan. During t

he weekend’s contract negotiations with a few of his players, manager Danny Rohl declared, “All in all, I am positive at the moment.” We are in discussions and I am still in communication with all the players. The next step is to come to an agreement.

“The players are aware that they are invited to accompany us on this trip into the upcoming season. I discussed the future with every player throughout the final week of the season and after it ended. I told the truth; some gamers moved on, and other ones will join.

One player who might play in the English Championship next year is Scott Wright, who played for Windass, who was a fixture at Ibrox from 2016 to 2018. The Rangers winger, who nearly left for Turkey last summer, has been linked to Sheffield Wednesday as the winger market at Ibrox gets more competitive.
