I haven’t been able to attend the Friday 5 p.m. signings, but we did manage to get a left back today.
Sam Beckwith, who left Maidenhead United earlier this summer, signs a two-year contract to join Rochdale.
The 22-year-old left back made 43 appearances in the last campaign, tallying 4 goals and dishing out 8 assists. In addition, he was named to the National League Team of the Season and received the April National League Player of the Month honour.
Beckwith began his career at Luton, where he made one appearance in the EFL Cup. He then went on loan to Biggleswade and Maidenhead, where he was a frequent member of the first team, before moving on to become a permanent member.
