In addition to winning and contributing to a clean sheet in the victory at Newport County, Curtis Tilt had additional reasons to celebrate.

After a steady season, the defender—who joined from Wigan Athletic last summer—reached his 50th Ammies appearance in South Wales.

In addition to starting more league games than any other outfield player, he has also assisted on three goals and scored four goals.

Curtis is appreciative of the travelling support for sticking with the team despite a lacklustre season and is looking forward to 2024–25.

“I’ve enjoyed my season this year, individually, collectively as a club we can be better but my time here at the moment I’ve enjoyed it.

“There were some great outfits there today, we’re thankful the fans keep travelling and supporting us all the time so thank you to them.

“Hopefully we can get another win, another clean sheet then we’ll all sit down and talk about what’s going on next year, hopefully we can be at the right end of the table next year.”
