Armed cops swoop on Scottish village after attempted daylight in Edinburgh

At approximately 4 p.m., several police cars with armed responses came on Kinglassie, Fife’s Main Street. In connection with the incident, a 37-year-old male was taken into custody.

After an attempted heist on Sunday afternoon, armed police stormed into a community in Scotland.

Although it’s unclear if the two instances are related, armed police were also spotted at a another village residence.

A 37-year-old male was taken into custody in relation to allegations of a robbery attempt.

“Around 4pm on Sunday, September 15, 2024, we were called to reports of an attempted robbery at a premises on Main Street, Kinglassie,” a Police Scotland spokesman stated.

“A 37-year-old male was taken into custody in relation to the incident once officers arrived. There are still enquiries open.”
